- non-invasive butterfly magnet
- electric violet flowers all summer long
Fragrant Flower. Heat Tolerant. Attracts bees, butterflies and hummingbirds. Resists deer. Deciduous.

Uses: landscape
Sun
Height: 48" - 60"
Plant: 48" - 60" apart
Habit: mounded
Growability: easy
Needs good drainage

Maintenance Notes:
Requires very well-drained soils, especially in late winter/early spring when temperatures are cold. Prune in spring after new growth has begun to emerge on the stems, cutting back to just above a healthy, vigorous bud.

If you have trouble with butterfly bush surviving winter in your climate, be sure that when you plant it, the crown of the plant is higher than, rather than at or below, the ground level. You should also avoid pruning until new growth is underway in spring; do not prune before winter.
