Drooping bright yellow petals surround the familiar brown central cone.Flowers mostly in mid-June to mid-July. Goldfinshes and other birds will eat the seeds if flower heads are left on over the winter. Drought tolerant and deer resistant.
Uses: naturalizing, meadows, garden beds
