Heat tolerant. Self-cleaning, deadheading not necessary. This is not necessarily true of all phlox. Drought tolerant. Attracts butterflies. Native to North America. Rabbits may find Phlox very tasty. An application of fertilizer or compost on garden beds and regular fertilization of plants in pots will help ensure the best possible performance.
