From division, bright red and holds its color when cooked, somewhat shorter and more slender stalks are very tender and sweet, produces fewer seed heads, very hardy and exceptional producer

Rhubarb is a cool season, perennial plant that is very winter hardy and resistant to drought. Rhubarb grows best on fertile, well-drained soils that are high in organic matter. Plant the roots with the crown bud 2" below the surface of the soil. Water the crowns after planting.
