Medium sized stalks can vary from green to speckled red, excellent flavor but somewhat tart, good producer.

Rhubarb is a cool season, perennial plant that is very winter hardy and resistant to drought. Rhubarb grows best on fertile, well-drained soils that are high in organic matter. Plant the roots with the crown bud 2" below the surface of the soil. Water the crowns after planting.
