Common name False Spirea. Dark blood-red flower plumes and striking bronze foliage are indispensable in the shaded or woodland garden. Excellent cut flower, fresh or dried. May be planted in sun if soil is consistently moist. Blooms late spring into summer. Attracts butterflies. Deer resistant. Pairs well with Ferns, Hosta, Pig Squeak. Divide every 3 - 5 years.
Uses: garden beds, bog gardens, waters edge, mass planting, containers, woodland garden
