Eye catching, non-fading and fragrant flowers on very strong stems. Double anemone-type flowers with melon-colored blooms in summer to fall. Upright habit, well branched. Drought tolerant once established.

A Terra Nova introduction. Double flowers are a unique ripe cantaloupe color, flowers first open with single melon-colored petals accented with a large brown cone, the cone gradually develops secondary petals creating a fully double cantaloupe-colored flower. Excellent branching habit and non-stop bloom all summer.

Echinacea ( Coneflower ) have always been a mainstay in the sunny perennial garden. Their popularity has skyrocketed in recent years due to intensive breeding programs that have produced fatastic new colors and introduced double and semi-double forms. They are easy to grow and tolerate of a wide range of conditions, including being drought and heat tolerant. Plant in full sun in average soil. Attractive cone heads add winter interest and are good for dried arrangements.
