Godzilla is the perfect name for this gigantic version of Japanese Painted fern. Each purple stemmed silver frond can reach 3 feet tall; a real specimen that works best in shade and prefers moist soil.
This genus of ferns consists of 180 species and if sound throughout the world. This type of fern is the food source for many different kinds of butterflies and will tolerate drier soil than other ferns. Deer and rabbit resistant.
