Bright yellow leaves on purplish red stems change to chartreuse as the season extends.
Hostas are among the most popular of perennials for shady areas, with hundreds of varieties now readily available. Plants form sturdy mounds of foliage, topped with lily-like blooms. This medium-sized selection has pointy leaves that begin brilliant yellow-gold in spring, changing to medium green in summer. Pale lavender flowers are held on red stems in August. Excellent for massing, using in containers or as a small specimen.
