A shorter Joe Pye Weed with tall leafy purple stems that are topped in midsummer with dome-shaped lavender-red flowers, a staple in any butterfly garden, tolerant of light shade and prefers moist soils. Attracts butterflies. Deer and rabbit resistant.

Common Name: White Snakeroot

Large perennials for the back of the border, preferring moist, well-drained soil. Plants flower late summer into fall and attract bees and butterflies.
