Dwarf compact mounds of dark purple foliage in spring and fall, attractive clusters of lavender-blue flowers bloom late spring and early summer on sturdy burgundy stems, summer foliage may turn more green depending upon light conditions, best if grown in light shade. Attracts butterflies. Deer resistant.

Very floriferous clump-forming perennials for the shade garden. Plants form thick clumps with upward spikes of fragrant blue flowers. Plants require partial to full shade and grow best in cooler climates.
