Attractive dark purple flower buds open to big, magenta-purple flowers with eye-catching yellow stamens atop sword-shaped evergreen leaves. Very climate-proof, hardy and very easy to maintain. Attracts butterflies.

Common Name: Spiderwort

Forms clumps of narrow grass-like foliage with terminal flower clusters on tall stems. Flowers open gradually over a long period beginning early summer. Tolerates moist soil.
