Commonly called Myrtle. Deep red-wine blooms over glossy trailing evergreen foliage. Best in shade, as sun can scorch the leaves. Stems will easily root and can be divided. Can be mowed every few years to keep bushy. Deer resistant. Drought tolerant once established.

Uses: groundcover, banks and under trees
Shade tolerant
Prefers well drained soil
Height: 6" - 8" tall
Plant 12" apart
Growability: easy
