True red flower clusters with yellow centers sit atop compact dark green foliage with strong sturdy stems.
The Seduction Series of Yarrows were recently bred in the Netherlands. Plants are mid-sized and upright, with very uniform blooming over a long season. This selection has clusters of rich strawberry-red flowers, each with a tiny yellow eye. Excellent for cutting. Nice in the border and for massed planting. Deadheading faded blooms should encourage more buds to form over a long season. Likely to prove hardy down to Zone 3 or colder.
Homeowner Planting and Maintenance Tips:
Achillea are easy to grow in well-drained soil and full sun as they are drought tolerant. They naturalize well and withstand poor to average soil conditions. Remove faded blooms to provide more flower buds.
